Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunrise by Ali Banisadr was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in New York in November last year. The price achieved of USD 78,495.00 (€ 76,038.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ali Banisadr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Motherboard in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 572,000.00 (€ 485,816.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunrise von Ali Banisadr wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 78.495,00 (€ 76.038,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ali Banisadr auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Motherboard im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 572.000,00 (€ 485.816,21).
