In June this year Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century to Now, which included the work Black 4 by Ali Banisadr. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 124,460.00 (€ 144,850.01), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ali Banisadr - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Motherboard, which sold at auction in July 2020 for USD 572,000.00 (€ 485,816.21).

Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century to Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Black 4 von Ali Banisadr zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 124.460,00 (€ 144.850,01) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ali Banisadr mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Motherboard beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für USD 572.000,00 (€ 485.816,21) versteigert wurde.
