In July this year Christies in Paris held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work 3L by Ali Banisadr. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,940.08), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ali Banisadr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Motherboard in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 572,000.00 (€ 485,816.21).

Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit 3L von Ali Banisadr zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.940,08) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ali Banisadr erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Motherboard im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 572.000,00 (€ 485.816,21).
