A top price for Ali Banisadr - as previously expected
In July 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century and Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Motherboard by Ali Banisadr. It changed hands for a price of USD 572,000.00 (€ 485,816.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Motherboard is the most expensive artwork by Ali Banisadr that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century and Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Motherboard von Ali Banisadr zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 572.000,00 (€ 485.816,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Motherboard das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ali Banisadr, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
