Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled by Alexander Liberman was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April this year. The price achieved of USD 1,270.00 (€ 1,150.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Liberman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Solstice Vii in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,390.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled von Alexander Liberman kam im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.270,00 (€ 1.150,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Liberman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Solstice Vii im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 37.390,17).
