Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work In-Transit by Abdulnasser Gharem. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,490.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdulnasser Gharem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Message/Messenger in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 842,500.00 (€ 568,450.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit In-Transit von Abdulnasser Gharem zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.490,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abdulnasser Gharem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Message/Messenger im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 842.500,00 (€ 568.450,17).
