Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Abdulnasser Gharem could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work The Stamp (Inshallah) changed hands for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,440.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdulnasser Gharem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Message/Messenger in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 842,500.00 (€ 568,450.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abdulnasser Gharem konnte im Dezember 2017 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit The Stamp (Inshallah) für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.440,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abdulnasser Gharem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Message/Messenger im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 842.500,00 (€ 568.450,17).
