The work Detour by Abdulnasser Gharem was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,210.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdulnasser Gharem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Message/Messenger in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 842,500.00 (€ 568,450.17).

Die Arbeit Detour von Abdulnasser Gharem kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.210,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abdulnasser Gharem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Message/Messenger im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 842.500,00 (€ 568.450,17).
