The work Paradise Series No. 26 by Zhang Linhai was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2008. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,052.63), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhang Linhai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Flag in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 251,381.85).

Die Arbeit Paradise Series No. 26 von Zhang Linhai wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 35.052,63) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Linhai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Flag im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 251.381,85).
