This artwork by Yvonne Thomas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May last year. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work The Bridge sold for USD 107,100.00 (€ 99,804.31) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yvonne Thomas; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2021 with the realized price of USD 137,500.00 (€ 112,760.37).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Yvonne Thomas erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
