The work Still Life by Yvonne Thomas was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. It achieved a price of USD 47,880.00 (€ 40,773.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yvonne Thomas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2021 for USD 137,500.00 (€ 112,760.37).

Die Arbeit Still Life von Yvonne Thomas wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 40.773,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Für andere Arbeiten von Yvonne Thomas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für USD 137.500,00 (€ 112.760,37) versteigert wurde.
