Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yoko Ono could be acquired at Bonhams in London in October 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work The Room Without A Shadow changed hands for GBP 318.75 (€ 353.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yoko Ono achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Play It By Trust in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 94,187.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yoko Ono konnte im Oktober 2020 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wechselte die Arbeit The Room Without A Shadow für GBP 318,75 (€ 353,94) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yoko Ono erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Play It By Trust im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 94.187,08).
