This artwork by Yoko Ono achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2010. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Play It By Trust sold for USD 116,500.00 (€ 94,187.08) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. This high result makes Play It By Trust the most expensive artwork by Yoko Ono that we have observed at auctions so far.
