Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Apple" by Yoko Ono was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2019. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 44,000.00 (€ 4,132.49). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yoko Ono achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Play It By Trust in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 94,187.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Apple" von Yoko Ono wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 44.000,00 (€ 4.132,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yoko Ono erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Play It By Trust im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 94.187,08).
