Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Yoko Ono was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2010. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yoko Ono achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Play It By Trust in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 116,500.00 (€ 94,187.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yoko Ono wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yoko Ono erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Play It By Trust im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.500,00 (€ 94.187,08).
