Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Seven Basic Poses by Wilson Shieh for USD 375.00 (€ 336.17). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilson Shieh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bank Of China, Hong Kong in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,885.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seven Basic Poses von Wilson Shieh für USD 375,00 (€ 336,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilson Shieh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bank Of China, Hong Kong im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.885,04).
