Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work ICC and IFC 2 by Wilson Shieh. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,207.07). Other works by Wilson Shieh have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,885.04) in October 2017 for the work Bank Of China, Hong Kong.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit ICC and IFC 2 von Wilson Shieh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.207,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Wilson Shieh haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.885,04) im Oktober 2017 für die Arbeit Bank Of China, Hong Kong beobachtet.
