Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Central Plaza and The Center; & HSBC, Standard Chartered and Old Bank of China by Wilson Shieh was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 57,600.00 (€ 6,965.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilson Shieh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bank Of China, Hong Kong, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,885.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Central Plaza and The Center; & HSBC, Standard Chartered and Old Bank of China von Wilson Shieh wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 57.600,00 (€ 6.965,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilson Shieh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bank Of China, Hong Kong beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.885,04) versteigert wurde.
