Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work HONG KONG ART IN A MOMENT by Wilson Shieh for HKD 13,860.00 (€ 1,676.11). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilson Shieh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bank Of China, Hong Kong in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,885.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit HONG KONG ART IN A MOMENT von Wilson Shieh für HKD 13.860,00 (€ 1.676,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilson Shieh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bank Of China, Hong Kong im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.885,04).
