The work No Boys In Girls' School by Wilson Shieh was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2020. The auction ended at the price of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,398.39), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilson Shieh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bank Of China, Hong Kong, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,885.04).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.398,39) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilson Shieh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bank Of China, Hong Kong beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.885,04) versteigert wurde.
