Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work The Stone Tape - Tat Ming Pair by Wilson Shieh was worth HKD 94,500.00 (€ 12,296.69) to a buyer in September last year. This price was achieved in the auction Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wilson Shieh; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bank Of China, Hong Kong sold at auction in October 2017 with the realized price of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,885.04).

Die Arbeit The Stone Tape - Tat Ming Pair von Wilson Shieh war einem Käufer im September letzten Jahres HKD 94.500,00 (€ 12.296,69) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
