Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady Sings by Wilson Shieh was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in February this year. The price achieved of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,299.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilson Shieh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bank Of China, Hong Kong, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,885.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady Sings von Wilson Shieh kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.299,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilson Shieh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bank Of China, Hong Kong beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.885,04) versteigert wurde.
