Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2001 Christies in New York held the auction NINETEENTH, TWENTIETH CENTURY AND CONTEMPORARY PRINTS, which included the work Lithograph #22 by William Samuel Schwartz. Here, the upper estimate of USD 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 822.50 (€ 914.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Samuel Schwartz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sun Bathers in November 2001 with an auction result of USD 47,000.00 (€ 52,467.07).
