Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Will Ryman could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War to Present auction, the work Untitled (Rose 2) changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,985.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Will Ryman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bed in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 97,875.00 (€ 115,687.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Will Ryman konnte im Februar 2019 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War to Present wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Rose 2) für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.985,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Will Ryman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Bed im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 97.875,00 (€ 115.687,47).
