Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Dark Figure); Untitled (Businessman at Desk); Untitled (National Debt); Untitled (Visual Aid Instruction) Four Works by Wallace Berman was auctioned at Christies in New York in May last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 17,640.00 (€ 16,438.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wallace Berman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Radio/Aether, 1966 in September last year with an auction result of USD 164,175.00 (€ 167,816.62).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Dark Figure); Untitled (Businessman at Desk); Untitled (National Debt); Untitled (Visual Aid Instruction) Four Works von Wallace Berman kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 16.438,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wallace Berman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Radio/Aether, 1966 im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 164.175,00 (€ 167.816,62).
