This work of art by Wallace Berman could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made In California auction, the work Radio/Aether, 1966 changed hands for USD 164,175.00 (€ 167,816.62) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Radio/Aether, 1966 is the most expensive artwork by Wallace Berman that we have observed at auction so far.
