Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Valerie Jaudon for USD 125.00 (€ 110.31). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valerie Jaudon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kreole in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 25,200.00 (€ 19,047.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Valerie Jaudon für USD 125,00 (€ 110,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valerie Jaudon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kreole im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 19.047,62).
