Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Umar Rashid achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in July 2020. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work Pompey, Blind Faith sold for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,308.31) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Umar Rashid have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Is there heaven for a collaborator/ colonizer? The Ballad of Hernan. (Or, Mission Control). in March last year with an auction result of USD 23,940.00 (€ 21,581.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Umar Rashid erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Pompey, Blind Faith für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.308,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Umar Rashid auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Is there heaven for a collaborator/ colonizer? The Ballad of Hernan. (Or, Mission Control). im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.940,00 (€ 21.581,18).
