Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Ulrich Rückriem was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,622.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ulrich Rückriem - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Sleeping Giants, which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 185,000.00 (€ 165,740.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ulrich Rückriem wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 81.250,00 (€ 69.622,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ulrich Rückriem mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Sleeping Giants beobachtet, die im September 2015 für USD 185.000,00 (€ 165.740,91) versteigert wurde.
