ULRICH RÜCKRIEM (B. 1938) Kunstraum München the complete set of 27 offset lithographs, on wove paper, 1974, signed and dated in blue ball-point pen on the justification page printed on the inside of the portfolio cover, numbered 52 from the edition of 110, published by Künstraum Munich, Germany, each the full sheet, in generally very good condition, together with the two index sheets and original linen portfolio case Overall: 17 1 ⁄ 8 x 12 3 ⁄ 8 x 1 in. (435 x 214 x 25 mm.) (album)
Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Kunstraum München by Ulrich Rückriem for USD 75.60 (€ 68.48). This price was achieved in the auction The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ulrich Rückriem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Sleeping Giants in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 185,000.00 (€ 165,740.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Kunstraum München von Ulrich Rückriem für USD 75,60 (€ 68,48) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ulrich Rückriem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Sleeping Giants im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 185.000,00 (€ 165.740,91).
