Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2011 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Nacht an Allen Tagen by Till Gerhard. The price achieved of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,101.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Till Gerhard have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2009 the work Waldrand was auctioned for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,186.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nacht an Allen Tagen von Till Gerhard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.101,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Till Gerhard konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2009 die Arbeit Waldrand für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.186,70) versteigert.
