Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Till Gerhard could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Howl" changed hands for SEK 7,000.00 (€ 657.44) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 18,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Till Gerhard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Waldrand in February 2009 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,186.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Till Gerhard konnte im April 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Howl" für SEK 7.000,00 (€ 657,44) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 18.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Till Gerhard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Waldrand im Februar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.186,70).
