Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Terence David La Noue achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2006. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work The Palace of Quetzalcoatl, from Ritual Series sold for USD 720.00 (€ 567.51) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terence David La Noue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Dreams of Gods, from The Ritual Series; and Fingal's Cave, which sold at auction in February 2008 for USD 3,000.00 (€ 1,975.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Terence David La Noue erzielte im September 2006 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wurde die Arbeit The Palace of Quetzalcoatl, from Ritual Series für USD 720,00 (€ 567,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 300,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Terence David La Noue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Dreams of Gods, from The Ritual Series; and Fingal's Cave beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für USD 3.000,00 (€ 1.975,37) versteigert wurde.
