Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Terence David La Noue could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Papuan Gulf, from Ritual Series changed hands for USD 60.00 (€ 49.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terence David La Noue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dreams of Gods, from The Ritual Series; and Fingal's Cave in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 1,975.37).
