Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work The Water Spirits, from Ritual Series by Terence David La Noue was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2005, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 500.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 60.00 (€ 49.76). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terence David La Noue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dreams of Gods, from The Ritual Series; and Fingal's Cave in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 1,975.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit The Water Spirits, from Ritual Series von Terence David La Noue im September 2005 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 60,00 (€ 49,76) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terence David La Noue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dreams of Gods, from The Ritual Series; and Fingal's Cave im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 1.975,37).
