The auction ended at the price of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 48,259.80), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Takanori Oguiss - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris, which sold at auction in November 2003 for USD 186,700.00 (€ 155,648.19).

Die Arbeit Rue Vieille Du Temple, Boutique Jaune "Ceintures" von Takanori Oguiss kam im Februar 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 48.259,80) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Takanori Oguiss mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris beobachtet, die im November 2003 für USD 186.700,00 (€ 155.648,19) versteigert wurde.
