The work Rue Vieille Du Temple, Boutique Jaune "Ceintures" by Takanori Oguiss was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2015. The auction ended at the price of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 48,259.80), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Takanori Oguiss - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris, which sold at auction in November 2003 for USD 186,700.00 (€ 155,648.19).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Rue Vieille Du Temple, Boutique Jaune "Ceintures" von Takanori Oguiss kam im Februar 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 48.259,80) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Takanori Oguiss mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris beobachtet, die im November 2003 für USD 186.700,00 (€ 155.648,19) versteigert wurde.
