Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rue Gabrielle, boutiques jaunes de Montmartre by Takanori Oguiss was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in New York in September 2021. The price achieved of USD 37,812.50 (€ 32,661.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Takanori Oguiss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris in November 2003 with an auction result of USD 186,700.00 (€ 155,648.19).
