In February 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Une Rue À Paris Au Landau by Takanori Oguiss. The result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 40,828.72) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Takanori Oguiss - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris, which sold at auction in November 2003 for USD 186,700.00 (€ 155,648.19).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Februar 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Une Rue À Paris Au Landau von Takanori Oguiss zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 40.828,72) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Takanori Oguiss mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris beobachtet, die im November 2003 für USD 186.700,00 (€ 155.648,19) versteigert wurde.
