Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Alain Delon 60 Years of Passion, which included the work Péniches à quai sur le canal Saint-Denis by Takanori Oguiss. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 32,000.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Takanori Oguiss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris in November 2003 with an auction result of USD 186,700.00 (€ 155,648.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Alain Delon 60 Years of Passion durch, in der auch die Arbeit Péniches à quai sur le canal Saint-Denis von Takanori Oguiss zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 32.000,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Takanori Oguiss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 186.700,00 (€ 155.648,19).
