Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale,, which included the work Une Rue À Paris Au Landau by Takanori Oguiss. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,628.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Takanori Oguiss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris in November 2003 with an auction result of USD 186,700.00 (€ 155,648.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, durch, in der auch die Arbeit Une Rue À Paris Au Landau von Takanori Oguiss zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.628,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Takanori Oguiss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 186.700,00 (€ 155.648,19).
