The work The Russian Ending by Tacita Dean was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2014. It achieved a price of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,165.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tacita Dean achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wake in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 133,250.00 (€ 165,673.00).

Die Arbeit The Russian Ending von Tacita Dean kam im Februar 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.165,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tacita Dean erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wake im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 133.250,00 (€ 165.673,00).
