Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Organised Whole, from Tate Modern 21 Years Print Portfolio by Tacita Dean was auctioned at Phillips in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 572.00 (€ 665.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tacita Dean achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wake in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 133,250.00 (€ 165,673.00).

Die Arbeit An Organised Whole, from Tate Modern 21 Years Print Portfolio von Tacita Dean kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 572,00 (€ 665,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tacita Dean erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wake im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 133.250,00 (€ 165.673,00).
