Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Puddle Painting (6) (Silver Dots) by Stefan Brüggemann. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,149.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stefan Brüggemann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mirror 26 in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 151,200.00 (€ 179,131.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Puddle Painting (6) (Silver Dots) von Stefan Brüggemann zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.149,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stefan Brüggemann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mirror 26 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 151.200,00 (€ 179.131,16).
