Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work CONCEPTUAL DECORATION (WALLPAPER WHITE ON BLACK) by Stefan Brüggemann. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,318.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stefan Brüggemann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mirror 26 in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 151,200.00 (€ 179,131.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit CONCEPTUAL DECORATION (WALLPAPER WHITE ON BLACK) von Stefan Brüggemann zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.318,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stefan Brüggemann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mirror 26 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 151.200,00 (€ 179.131,16).
