Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Stefan Brüggemann could be acquired at Sothebys in London in March 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Work Obliterated #2 changed hands for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,986.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stefan Brüggemann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mirror 26 in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 151,200.00 (€ 179,131.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stefan Brüggemann konnte im März 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Work Obliterated #2 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.986,57) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stefan Brüggemann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mirror 26 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 151.200,00 (€ 179.131,16).
