Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Headlines and Last Line in the Movies (Control) by Stefan Brüggemann was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in March last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,408.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stefan Brüggemann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mirror 26 in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 151,200.00 (€ 179,131.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Headlines and Last Line in the Movies (Control) von Stefan Brüggemann wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.408,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stefan Brüggemann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mirror 26 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 151.200,00 (€ 179.131,16).
