It achieved a price of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 59,774.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stefan Brüggemann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mirror 26, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 151,200.00 (€ 179,131.16).

Die Arbeit Headlines and Last Lines in the Movies (Fluorescent) von Stefan Brüggemann kam im März 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 59.774,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Für andere Arbeiten von Stefan Brüggemann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mirror 26 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 151.200,00 (€ 179.131,16) versteigert wurde.
