Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Puppy Painting) by Sebastian Black was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2015. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,095.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sebastian Black - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chess Sickness, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,287.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Puppy Painting) von Sebastian Black kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.095,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sebastian Black mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chess Sickness beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.287,61) versteigert wurde.
