Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Between Red 116 by Sea Hyun Lee. The price achieved of USD 40,625.00 (€ 31,225.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Other works by Sea Hyun Lee have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2011 the work Between Red 18 was auctioned for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 41,050.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Between Red 116 von Sea Hyun Lee zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 40.625,00 (€ 31.225,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sea Hyun Lee konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2011 die Arbeit Between Red 18 für GBP 34.850,00 (€ 41.050,38) versteigert.
