In April 2008 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Between Red-38 by Sea Hyun Lee. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,935.73), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sea Hyun Lee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Between Red 18, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 41,050.38).

Im April 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Between Red-38 von Sea Hyun Lee zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.935,73) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Sea Hyun Lee mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Between Red 18 beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 34.850,00 (€ 41.050,38) versteigert wurde.
